This certifies that the bearer, Miss Minerva F. Hale, has been a volunteer nurse in this Hospital since August 17th 1864 and now attends her sick brother, a solider, here.
As a nurse I consider that she is entitled to transportation at soldier’s rates. Officers in charge of transportation are respectfully requested to furnish her “Soldiers’ Tickets.”
