Original Civil War Document war dated. promotion warrant to 2nd Corporal for Marcellus H. Wygant of the 120th New York Infantry. Captured at James City, VA - October 10, 1863. Wounded at White Oak Church, VA - March 31, 1865. Document signed by Colonel George H. Sharpe, 120th New York Infantry. Sharpe was also promoted to Brevet Brigadier and Major General.
