Description

Original Civil War document,  30 ½ x 21, two-sided imprinted form, filled out in ink.  Muster Roll of Detachment of the different regiments of Maine Volunteers, assigned to U.S. Veteran Reserve Corps, from the 29^th day of February 1864 to the 20^th day of April 1864, Augusta, Maine.  Includes soldiers from the 4^th, 6^th, 7^th, 9^th, 10^th, 14^th, 17^th and 19^th Maine Volunteers.  Each man is listed with name, rank, enrollment, muster, pay information, etc..  The document has been signed four times by Thomas F. Goodwin, Captain, Commanding the Detachment and once by E. Merrill, Paymaster, U.S. Volunteers.  Light age toning and wear.
