Ricketts' Battery F, 1st Pennsylvania Light Artillery




A superb bound collection of original Civil War documents all related to Robert B. Ricketts’ Battery F, 1st Pennsylvania Light Artillery. All documents were written during the Petersburg Campaign of 1864. This superb grouping includes 31 original, Battery F documents - all “War Dated” and documented in period ink.

Some of the document signatures include: Robert B. Ricketts and Edward R. Warner of the 1st Pennsylvania Light Artillery, Henry P. Goddard of the 14th Connecticut Infantry (Wounded at Fredericksburg and Chancellorsville), Robert A. Stanton of the 74th New York Infantry, Abram M. E. Gordon of the 14th New York Heavy Artillery, Edward R. Warner of the 1st New York Light Artillery (Brevetted to Brigadier General), Joseph P. Farley and Morris Schaff of the United States Army, Ordnance Department and John W. Roder of the 4th United States Light Artillery.
