Jim Quinlan and Bob Cammaroto, two experienced Civil War collectors, established "The Excelsior Brigade" in 2001. The name commemorates New York State's original Excelsior Brigade, whose service brought honor to its state and distinction to itself on many a bloody field against an ever gallant and honorable foe. The goal of the "Brigade" is to offer high quality, original items while ensuring the best in service and customer satisfaction.
Three simple principles dictate how The Excelsior Brigade conducts itself:
Integrity - is always our highest priority, without exception or compromise. Our word is truly our bond. We stand by it unconditionally.
Quality - is our goal. We strive to supply high quality, original material to the sophisticated collector as well as to those with less experience. We are particularly happy to assist beginners. We assure all our customers our material is fairly priced and is exactly what it is represented to be, without exception or equivocation.
Service - will always be one of the Brigade's hallmarks. We pledge to conduct all business respectfully and in good faith. As collectors none of us should expect nor tolerate discourtesy, carelessness, or arrogance. Every communication will be answered as fully and as timely as possible. Serious "want lists" will be accommodated with vigor and fairness to all. Our unconditional return policy stands behind every transaction. Should any question ever arise, we will stand on our commitment to our first principle - - Integrity.
